DAY 1
Chandigarh – Sangla
On arrival at Chandigarh, our cab will pick up the guests and proceed to Sangla. En route, and enjoy scenic views of the Himalayan ranges.
DAY 2
Sangla – Chitkul
Travel by surface from Sangla to Chitkul. En route, visit Kamru Fort and Chitkul Village, the last village on the old Indo-Tibetan trade route. Enjoy the scenic beauty of lush green orchards and the mesmerizing views of the Baspa River flowing alongside. After sightseeing, Check in to the hotel/camp. Dinner & overnight stay in Chitkul
DAY 3
Chitkul to Nako – Spin the 500-Year-Old Prayer Wheel Made of Yak Skin
Route: Chitkul → Reckong Peo → Pooh → Nako Distance: 120 km | Travel Time: 6-7 hours After breakfast, drive toward Nako, a peaceful high-altitude village known for its serene lake and ancient monastery. En route, pass through Reckong Peo, Pooh, and Kinnaur Valley. At Nako, visit the 500-year-old Nako Monastery and spin the prayer wheel made of yak skin. Enjoy a short walk around Nako Lake, surrounded by stunning Himalayan peaks. Overnight stay in Nako.
DAY 4
Nako to Kaza & Local Sightseeing
Route: Nako → Tabo → Dhankar → Kaza Distance: 110 km | Travel Time: 6-7 hours Post breakfast, drive towards Kaza, the capital of Spiti Valley. • Stop at Tabo Monastery, one of the oldest Buddhist monasteries in the Himalayas, dating back to 996 AD. • Visit Dhankar Monastery, dramatically perched on a cliff offering breathtaking views of Spiti Valley. • Reach Kaza, check into your hotel, and explore the local market and cafes. Overnight stay in Kaza.
DAY 5
Kaza – Chandratal – Atal Tunnel – Manali (Approx. 200 km / 7–8 hrs)
Check out from the hotel and proceed towards Chandratal Lake. En route, cross the famous Kunzum Pass (4,551 m), offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. After visiting the beautiful Chandratal Lake, continue the drive towards Manali via Batal, Gramphu, and the Atal Tunnel. It will be a long and scenic journey through the mountains. Upon arrival in Manali, check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Manali.
DAY 6
Manali to Chandigarh Drop
Drive from Manali to Chandigarh through scenic mountain roads and beautiful valleys. Enjoyed peaceful views, fresh weather, and a comfortable journey before reaching Chandigarh, marking the end of a memorable Himachal trip filled with relaxing moments and wonderful travel experiences.
