Transfer from Katra to Srinagar (approx. 224 km / 7–8 hrs). On arrival, check-in at houseboat/hotel and relax. In the evening, you may enjoy a Shikara ride at Dal Lake (optional, direct payment). Overnight stay in Srinagar.

The Sindh River flows through the valley and is known for trout and mahseer fish. During most of the year, visitors can enjoy snow spread across the meadows like a white carpet. You may also hire ponies (at your own cost) for a ride to the famous Thajiwas Glacier, one of the main attractions of Sonmarg during the summer season. In the evening, return to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
