DAY 1

Chandigarh Arrival - Shimla Stay

Arrive in Chandigarh and proceed to Shimla, enjoying the scenic Himalayan roads and beautiful landscapes. Check into your hotel for a comfortable stay, relax, and explore the charming surroundings of Shimla at your own pace.

DAY 2

Travel Shimla to Sarahan

23rd Sep 26

Today, begin your journey from Shimla to Sarahan via Rampur. Sarahan, renowned for the Shri Bhimakali Temple (2150 meters), is dedicated to the mother goddess Bhimakali, the presiding deity of the former Bushahr state rulers. After visiting the temple, you can explore the nearby town of Rampur Bushahr, located 33 km away. This charming town, situated at 1,005 meters on the left bank of the Sutlej, served as Bushahr's winter capital and is a hub for mercantile activity, especially during the Lavi fair in November. Return to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay

DAY 3

Sarahan- Sangla- Chitkul

After breakfast, start your journey towards Sangla Valley, located in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. Known for its breathtaking beauty, Sangla means "Pass of Light" in Tibetan, referring to the valley's abundant sunlight. After checking into your hotel, visit Chitkul village, the last inhabited settlement near the Indo-Tibet border, just 20 km from Sangla. Situated on the right bank of the Baspa River, Chitkul is famous for the Chitkul Maathi Temple, dedicated to the local goddess Mata Devi. End the day with a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 4

Travel Chitkul to Kalpa

This morning, check out from the hotel and drive to Kalpa, the district headquarters of Kinnaur. Once called Chini, Kalpa has remained largely unchanged for 500 years. The village offers stunning views of Jorkanden and Kinner Kailash peaks, believed to be Lord Shiva’s mythical home. A 79-foot Shivlinga rock formation is visible during the day. After arriving, enjoy a local sightseeing tour and visit Rekong Peo for shopping. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 5

Kalpa to Shimla

Route: Kalpa → Reckong Peo → Rampur → Shimla Distance: 220 km | Travel Time: 7-9 hours Check out and drive back to Shimla, retracing the scenic route through Kinnaur Valley, Rampur, and Narkanda. Upon arrival in Shimla, the trip concludes, marking the end of an unforgettable Valley adventure.

DAY 6

Shimla- Kufri- Chandigarh Drop

27th Sep 26

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head for a Shimla sightseeing tour, including Kufri, a top skiing destination in winter and a popular picnic spot in summer. Later, return to Chandigarh, reminiscing about the unforgettable moments of your exotic journey.

• All present applicable taxes are included. However, any changes in the tax structure will be charged to the clients accordingly.

Hotel Timings: Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM, and check-out is 11:00 AM. Early check-in/late check-out is subject to hotel discretion.

Exclusions: Entrance fees, parking, and guide charges are not included in the package.

Itinerary Modifications: Once booked, the itinerary cannot be modified. Any changes must be discussed with the tour executives, and applicable charges will be borne by the client.

Transportation: Services will be provided as per the itinerary and not at disposal.

Accommodation: In case of unavailability, alternate arrangements will be made in a similar category hotel.

Children Policy: Kids below 5 years are complimentary, sharing parents’ beds. However, milk/food for infants is chargeable.

Force Majeure: Expenses due to unforeseen factors like natural calamities or political disturbances must be borne by the clients.

Personal Expenses: Costs like laundry, telephone, room service, alcoholic beverages, minibar charges, tips, portage, and camera fees are not included.

Hilly Area Conditions:

• AC will not function in vehicles in hilly areas.

• Most hotels in hilly areas do not have escalators or AC/fans. Special requests for these facilities must be made before booking.

Cancellation: Glacial Adventures is not responsible for cancellations caused by unforeseen events beyond its control.

• Requests to prepone or postpone a tour package must be made in writing at least 7 days before the tour date.

• A fee of INR 3000 will be charged for any changes.

50% payment is required to confirm the package, after which the booking voucher will be issued.

100% payment must be completed 30 days prior to arrival, failing which the booking will be treated as canceled.

• Please share a screenshot of the payment for records.

• Expenses incurred due to any factors beyond our control, like natural calamities, heavy snowfall, landslides, political insurgencies, strikes, etc., will not be covered.

• Travel insurance and rescue costs are not included in the package cost.

If the Client wishes to amend or cancel their booking for any reason (including but not limited to death, accident, illness, or non-payment of the balance amount), the Company reserves the right to recover cancellation charges.

Communication Requirement: All cancellations must be communicated in writing, and the advance amount is non-refundable, in addition to forfeiting the deposit amount of the tour.


CANCELLATION CHARGES:

The following charges will apply:

30 days or more prior to departure: Advance amount is non-refundable.

30 to 15 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost.

14 to 7 days prior to departure: 75% of the total tour cost.

7 days to 1 day prior to departure: 100% of the total tour cost.

No Refund for No Shows: There will be no refund in the case of a no-show.


AMENDMENTS & ADDITIONAL CANCELLATION CHARGES:

Amendments Resulting in Cancellations: If any amendments result in the cancellation of one or more services, the cancellation charges outlined above will apply.

Amendment Requests: All amendment requests must be submitted in writing. Changes will only be processed after the Company receives the request.


THIRD-PARTY SERVICES:

For services booked through third parties (e.g., air/train tickets or other services), the following will apply:

• Cancellation charges will be as per the terms of the respective airline, railway, or third-party provider.

• The Company reserves the right to recover its service charges for booking and canceling these services.
