Shimla to Sangla

Sangla Sightseeing – Kamru Fort – Chitkul – Transfer to Kalpa
Route: Sangla → Chitkul → Kalpa Distance: 60 km | Travel Time: 3-4 hours Stay: Kalpa (Night 3) After breakfast, visit Kamru Fort, an ancient wooden structure with a commanding view of the valley. Proceed to Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border, famous for its stunning landscapes and traditional wooden houses. Stroll along the Baspa River and explore the Mathi Temple before continuing to Kalpa. Enjoy the spectacular sunset over the Kinner Kailash mountain range. Overnight stay in Kalpa.
DAY 5
Kalpa to Tabo via Nako & Gue Monastery
Route: Kalpa → Nako → Gue → Tabo Distance: 150 km | Travel Time: 6-7 hours Stay: Tabo (Night 4) Post breakfast, drive towards Tabo, with stops at: • Nako Lake, a high-altitude lake offering mesmerizing views. • Gue Monastery, home to a 500-year-old naturally preserved mummy. Upon arrival in Tabo, check into your hotel and visit the Tabo Monastery, often called the Ajanta of the Himalayas due to its ancient murals and stucco paintings. Overnight stay in Tabo.
DAY 6
Tabo → Dhankar → Pin Valley → Kaza
After breakfast, checkout from Tabo and drive to Kaza En route visit Dhankar Monastery, Pin Valley National Park, Mud Village and Chicham Bridge. Arrival in Kaza, check-in at hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay in Kaza.

Kaza Sightseeing – Key Monastery & High-Altitude Villages

Kaza to Chandratal – The Moon Lake
• After breakfast, drive toward Chandratal Lake via Kunzum Pass (15,060 ft). • Reach Chandratal, a stunning high-altitude lake, where you can enjoy a short hike & admire the reflections of snow-covered peaks. • Check into your campsite under the stars. • Dinner & overnight stay at Chandratal Camp.
DAY 9
Chandratal to Manali via Atal Tunnel & Solang Valley
Route: Chandratal → Manali Distance: 150 km | Travel Time: 6-7 hours Stay: Manali (Night 8) After breakfast, check out from the camp and drive towards Manali, crossing the Atal Tunnel and visiting Solang Valley, a paradise for adventure lovers. Upon arrival in Manali, check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring Mall Road. Overnight stay in Manali.
