The route from Rishikesh to Guptkashi is a scenic Himalayan drive passing Devprayag and Rudraprayag. It follows river valleys, steep hills, and confluence towns along the Alaknanda, offering changing landscapes from plains to higher Garhwal mountains.

Upon arrival, check into your campsite or guesthouse and spend the rest of the day relaxing amidst Chopta’s lush meadows, often called the “Mini Switzerland of India,” while preparing for the next day’s trek to Tungnath Temple.
