Srinagar – Sonmarg Excursion – Srinagar
• Breakfast at hotel • Drive to Sonmarg (2,800m above sea level) – “Meadow of Gold” • Explore Sindh River, Thajiwas Glacier (ponies available for hire at own cost) • Return to Srinagar in the evening • Dinner & overnight stay in Srinagar
DAY 3
Excursion to Pahalgam – Explore the Valley at Leisure
• After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, a stunning valley surrounded by mountains and rivers. • Recommended Activities (by own payment): • Betaab Valley & Aru Valley Excursion (hire a local taxi as per union rules) • Pony rides in Baisaran Valley (Mini Switzerland of India) • River Rafting on Lidder River (seasonal adventure sport) • Visit Awantipura Ruins, an ancient Hindu temple site • Return to Srinagar in the evening. • Overnight stay in Srinagar.
DAY 4
Transfer to Gulmarg – The Meadow of Flowers
• After breakfast, check out and proceed to Gulmarg (56 km, 2 hours). • En route, enjoy scenic views of Tangmarg & apple orchards. • On arrival, take the Gulmarg Gondola Ride (Asia’s Highest Cable Car) (Direct Payment). • Visit Maharani Temple & St. Mary’s Church. • Explore the Gulmarg Golf Course & Strawberry Valley. • Overnight stay in Gulmarg.
DAY 5
Gulmarg – Srinagar (Transfer)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Gulmarg and proceed towards Srinagar. Enjoy a scenic drive through pine forests and beautiful Kashmir landscapes. On arrival in Srinagar, transfer to your hotel/houseboat.
