Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and meet your driver. Drive to Shillong, also known as the “Scotland of the East.” En route, stop at Umiam Lake, where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Check into your hotel in Shillong and freshen up. In the evening, explore the local markets and try authentic northeastern cuisine for dinner. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Proceed for a scenic drive to Mawlynnong, known as Asia’s cleanest village. Visit the Living Root Bridge and Bamboo Bridge. Continue towards Dawki and enjoy boating at the crystal-clear Umngot River near the India–Bangladesh border. Later, drive to Cherrapunjee, famous for its lush landscapes and heavy rainfall. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

After breakfast, drive to Tyrna Village, the base point for the trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Trek down 3000 steps through the dense forest to witness this natural wonder. Spend time admiring the bridge and its surroundings before trekking back up to Tyrna village. Return to your hotel in Cherrapunji for an overnight stay.

Check-out and visit Nohkalikai Falls, India’s highest plunge waterfall, and hear the local legend associated with it. Take a short trek to Wei Sawdong Falls, a stunning three-tiered waterfall. After enjoying the beautiful scenery, drive back to Shillong. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel for an overnight stay.
