DAY 1

Arrival in Guwahati – Local Sightseeing

10th Oct 26

Arrive in Guwahati and transfer to your hotel. Visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, one of the most revered Shakti Peeths. Later, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River. Explore local markets and try Assamese cuisine. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 2

Guwahati to Kaziranga – Wildlife Exploration

11th Oct 26

After breakfast, depart for Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for the one-horned rhinoceros. Check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening. Optional visits to nearby tea gardens or Kaziranga Orchid Park. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

DAY 3

Kaziranga Safari & Transfer to Shillong

Wake up early for a Jeep Safari in Kaziranga, where you can spot rhinos, elephants, deer, and exotic birds. After breakfast, drive to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. Check into your hotel and explore Shillong’s local markets (if time permits). Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY 4

Shillong to Shnongpdeng via Laitlum Grand Canyon & Krang Suri Falls

13th Oct 26

After breakfast, depart for Shnongpdeng with stops at Laitlum Grand Canyon, famous for its breathtaking views, and Krang Suri Falls, one of Meghalaya’s most beautiful waterfalls. Enjoy some leisure time by the serene blue pool below the falls. Upon reaching Shnongpdeng, check-in at your hotel/camp/homestay for an overnight stay.

DAY 5

Shnongpdeng to Cherrapunji via Mawlynnong Village

14th Oct 26

Start your morning with water activities in the Umngot River at Shnongpdeng. Later, drive towards Cherrapunji, stopping en route at Mawlynnong Village, known as the “Cleanest Village in Asia.” Take a short walk through the village and experience its unique culture. Arrive in Cherrapunji by evening, check-in to the hotel, and relax. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

DAY 6

Trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge

15th Oct 26

After breakfast, drive to Tyrna Village, the base point for the trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Trek down 3000 steps through the dense forest to witness this natural wonder. Spend time admiring the bridge and its surroundings before trekking back up to Tyrna village. Return to your hotel in Cherrapunji for an overnight stay.

DAY 7

Travel from Cherrapunji to Shillong via Nohkalikai & Wei Sawdong Falls

16th Oct 26

Check-out and visit Nohkalikai Falls, India’s highest plunge waterfall, and hear the local legend associated with it. Take a short trek to Wei Sawdong Falls, a stunning three-tiered waterfall. After enjoying the beautiful scenery, drive back to Shillong. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 8

Travel from Shillong to Guwahati & Local Sightseeing

17th Oct 26

Check out from your hotel and begin your journey back to Guwahati. Enjoy the scenic drive through the lush green landscapes of Meghalaya. Optional Stops En Route (if time permits): • Umiam Lake (Barapani) – A beautiful reservoir perfect for photography and relaxation. • Local Handicraft & Souvenir Shops – Pick up traditional Khasi souvenirs and handicrafts. Upon reaching Guwahati, check in to your hotel. If time allows, visit the Assam State Museum, Navagraha Temple, or explore local markets. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Depending on your departure schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Check out from the hotel and proceed to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.

• All present applicable taxes are included. However, any changes in the tax structure will be charged to the clients accordingly.

• Hotel Timings: Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM, and check-out is 11:00 AM. Early check-in/late check-out is subject to hotel discretion.

• Exclusions: Entrance fees, parking, and guide charges are not included in the package.

• Itinerary Modifications: Once booked, the itinerary cannot be modified. Any changes must be discussed with the tour executives, and applicable charges will be borne by the client.

• Transportation: Services will be provided as per the itinerary and not at disposal.

• Accommodation: In case of unavailability, alternate arrangements will be made in a similar category hotel.

• Children Policy: Kids below 5 years are complimentary, sharing parents’ beds. However, milk/food for infants is chargeable.

• Force Majeure: Expenses due to unforeseen factors like natural calamities or political disturbances must be borne by the clients.

• Personal Expenses: Costs like laundry, telephone, room service, alcoholic beverages, minibar charges, tips, portage, and camera fees are not included.

• Hilly Area Conditions:

• AC will not function in vehicles in hilly areas.

• Most hotels in hilly areas do not have escalators or AC/fans. Special requests for these facilities must be made before booking.

• Cancellation: Glacial Adventures is not responsible for cancellations caused by unforeseen events beyond its control.

• Requests to prepone or postpone a tour package must be made in writing at least 7 days before the tour date.

• A fee of INR 3000 will be charged for any changes.

• 50% payment is required to confirm the package, after which the booking voucher will be issued.

• 100% payment must be completed 30 days prior to arrival, failing which the booking will be treated as canceled.

• Please share a screenshot of the payment for records.

• Expenses incurred due to any factors beyond our control, like natural calamities, heavy snowfall, landslides, political insurgencies, strikes, etc., will not be covered.

• Travel insurance and rescue costs are not included in the package cost.

Cancellation not allowed after booking.

If the Client wishes to amend or cancel their booking for any reason (including but not limited to death, accident, illness, or non-payment of the balance amount), the Company reserves the right to recover cancellation charges.

• Communication Requirement: All cancellations must be communicated in writing, and the advance amount is non-refundable, in addition to forfeiting the deposit amount of the tour.


CANCELLATION CHARGES:

The following charges will apply:

• 30 days or more prior to departure: Advance amount is non-refundable.

• 30 to 15 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost.

• 14 to 7 days prior to departure: 75% of the total tour cost.

• 7 days to 1 day prior to departure: 100% of the total tour cost.

• No Refund for No Shows: There will be no refund in the case of a no-show.


AMENDMENTS & ADDITIONAL CANCELLATION CHARGES:

• Amendments Resulting in Cancellations: If any amendments result in the cancellation of one or more services, the cancellation charges outlined above will apply.

• Amendment Requests: All amendment requests must be submitted in writing. Changes will only be processed after the Company receives the request.


THIRD-PARTY SERVICES:

For services booked through third parties (e.g., air/train tickets or other services), the following will apply:

• Cancellation charges will be as per the terms of the respective airline, railway, or third-party provider.

• The Company reserves the right to recover its service charges for booking and canceling these services.
